JEANNE MAYO
What do you do when the lights go off? You know, all the times that things seem dark and there's no energy...no spiritual feelings left. You feel blah in your walk with Christ ...in your leadership...in your marriage and all the excitement you had at the start is gone. Have you ever been there? I know I have. When those times are upon you, I hope you get some encouragement from these Legacy resources.

You'll especially like the message called, "What To Do When The Lights Go Out." It's a memorable message and transferable to all ages because I did something so simple...I kept having someone turn the lights out at key times during the message.

Lovingly,

LEADERSHIP RESOURCES

VIDEO RESOURCE

Have you ever hit periods when you were unmotivated to do ministry? Where you were painfully "blah" in other areas of your life? I used to think that if I just took care of my "spiritual person," I was going to be okay.  But the truth is, doing ministry for the long haul (more than 3 months) is more complicated than just taking care of your spiritual self.
"Challenges will come my way. It is not a matter of IF, but WHEN. And in those moments, I will choose to walk with joy, to encourage those around me, and to persevere beyond what I think is possible by relying on God, His Word and the people He has placed in my life. I am more than a conqueror."

MESSAGES TO TEACH

How do we keep our spiritual life alive in our hearts? It's usually easy on the heels of a great camp, conference or retreat. But, what do you do after the lights have gone out? What do you do when you know in your head God is still there, but the "feelings" of His presence have faded?
Sin has energy! That's the heart of this Message. It is, perhaps, one of the most important messages we really need to get deep down inside of us. The slippery slope that lies ahead for those of us who don't "get it" is frightening.

BONUS VIDEOS

God, the Father, not only knows and cares about our pain, but He understands it too.  The Lord's compassion is so great, He collects all of my tears and puts them in a bottle.
Philippians 1:21 says, "To live is Christ and to die is gain." Somewhere along the journey, you've got to decide if you really believe in a Hell and a Heaven. It changes everything!
